IMADRI Pro Bono Mediation Program
IMADRI believes that access to skilled, culturally matched mediation should not depend on financial resources. We reserve a limited number of engagements each year for parties who demonstrate genuine financial need.
Our Commitment
Mediation exists to provide a more accessible, less adversarial alternative to litigation. IMADRI's Pro Bono Program extends that mission to individuals and families who cannot afford full fees — including conflict-affected diaspora families, low-income workers navigating workplace disputes, and small business owners facing commercial disagreements. Applications are reviewed personally by our founder. All information is held in strict confidence.
Who May Apply
- 1Individuals or families with household income below 200% of the applicable federal or national poverty guideline
- 2Parties involved in a dispute within IMADRI's practice areas: family/estate, workplace, small business, conflict-affected diaspora, or community disputes
- 3Parties for whom mediation is the appropriate process (cases involving active criminal matters or requiring legal advice are outside scope)
- 4Applicants who are willing to participate in good faith and complete the full mediation process
IMADRI accepts up to 6 pro bono cases per year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. A waitlist is maintained when capacity is reached.
